Local Chapter

The California University of Pennsylvania chapter of Delta Chi was founded on December 14th, 1974. This chapter focuses on recruiting quality males to join a close-knit brotherhood while striving to become recognized in the community through our philanthropy and involvement with other organizations on and off campus. 4th oldest chapter in PA, oldest in the area (We are older than Pitt and Duquesne).

History of Delta Chi

Delta Chi was founded at Cornell University on October 13th, 1890 as a Law Fraternity. In 1922, it became a general fraternity and all college men were given a chance to become brothers. In 1929, Delta Chi became the first fraternity to officially abolish "Hell Week." There are currently 135 chapters and colonies across the country with over 100,000 active and Alumni brothers.
